Stop at Breakwater Cove to watch the divers descend into the depths and maybe rent a kayak or paddleboard if you don’t mind a little cold plunge here and there. Have a brew at Cannery Row Brewing Company and fill up on local seafood, such as calamari or abalone, along Cannery Row. Make sure to spend a whole day exploring the Monterey Bay Aquarium, in all its glory, to truly learn about this remarkable area and its importance to California as its ‘first city.’
