CAMBRIA, CA
PINES BY THE SEA
Labeled “One of America’s Prettiest Towns” by Forbes.com, Cambria truly is a picturesque escape. This seaside village is located in the midst of pine trees, and offers visitors excellent retail shopping as well as beach recreation such as kayaking, skim boarding, surfing, and boogie boarding. It is only six miles away from the famous Hearst Castle, which offers spectacular tours of this masterpiece of architecture.
For the equestrian minded, there are horseback tours through some of Cambria’s most beautiful private ranches. Along Moonstone Beach Drive, there are many hotels and bed-and-breakfasts, and the Moonstone beach itself is home to a variety of sea life, with everything from seals and otters to urchins and starfish easily found in the tide-pools. Friendly people and a multitude of activities to choose from make this one of California’s premier vacation destinations.
